The chicken lip (also known as a litwor) resembles a large snake with a chicken head and 3-4 pairs of chicken feet. No one knows how or why they were created. They were first seen in the forests of the southern continent, near locations said to contain portals to other worlds.

The chicken lip is immune to poison, death spells, petrification, polymorph, and sleep. They can only be hit by silver or magical weapons.

Chicken lips attack in large groups, but they act chaotic. Roll 1d6 on each round to determine what an individual chicken lip does:
1st round: 1-4, attack; 5-6 do nothing (except move)
2nd round: 1-4, attack; 5-6 do nothing (except move)
3rd round: 1-4, attack; 5-6, cast Silence 15’ Radius.
and so on.

If a chicken lip is by itself: 1-4, attack; 5-6, cast Earthquake as a 20th level priest.

Some sages suggest that the chicken lip’s Earthquake is evidence that they were created by strange gods. Such gods, perhaps, may still be watching over their creations.

  2. I'm not sure I would be afraid if I ever ran into one of these alone, but if it were a whole group... yikes lol

    Such odd creatures.
