The hexapod (also known as a vilepillar) is an enchanted creature that resembles a huge catapillar with the torso of a lizardman and a scorpion-like tail with a stinger.

It likes to hide beneath sand or other debris waiting to surprise victims with its stinger, causing 1d8 damage. Victims must then save versus poison or suffer paralysis for 1d3 turns.

The hexapod takes double damage from water-based spells and spells based on negative energy.
